A recently-established $100 million fund that supports youth initiatives and innovations to co-create social change for the benefit of the community through partnerships with youth sector organisations (YSOs) - youth social enterprises, schools, institutes of higher learning (IHLs) and other community partners. NYF Trustees and an Advisory Committee have been appointed from various people, private, public sectors to oversee the fund.
The NYF funds the following types of projects:
- Pilot projects
Ideas with unique value propositions that contribute towards youth leadership development, engagement with young working adults and growth of youth interest groups or social movements
- Capability Development projects
Increased organisational capabilities through multiple partnerships and sharing within the local youth sector
Example: Care Corner’s Youth Rangers Programme is a structured three-year leadership development programme targeted at 150 youth who are at low-medium risk of falling into juvenile delinquency. The programme seeks to prevent youth from committing criminal acts or vices and at the same time, develop their leadership competencies.
Through the programme, youth-at-risk go through workshops that encourage:
- personal and group development
- experiential and outdoor learning components
- mentorship and guidance
These youth leaders would serve as a pipeline of leaders who can contribute to other sectors of the community.

For outstanding youth and youth sector leaders from reputable local and international platforms with the intent of leading new community initiatives
