    Decide what you want your notice board to be about. Try to devote different section to a different thing (notes, pictures, etc.)

    Buy some pins for your board. They aren't expensive, depending on where you look. You can buy some plain ones, or buy some decorated ones. You can make a theme, and design your board from there.

    Decide which area you are going to do first. Sort through everything that was on your notice board, and throw out anything you are sure you won't need/want. Sort through what you have left, and make piles for each section you are going to work on.

    Organize all the other areas and then put all of the spare pins in a container or in a corner of your notice board. Keep the container near your board, out of a child's reach.
